Data You Give Us Directly
When you use a search form, the name, phone number, or address you enter is sent to the third-party provider that supplies those results. We do not save your searches on our own servers. If you send us a message, we receive the information you include and use it to respond.
Data Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs, including IP address, browser type, page requests, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the site and understand which Davis records pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data

The site is delivered over an encrypted connection. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Because Davis People Search has no user accounts, it does not maintain passwords or account profiles for visitors.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor sent personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, and California's data-broker laws, including Civ. Code § 1798.99.80(c) and § 1798.99.82. Because we keep very little visitor data, most requests are limited to checking our contact mailbox and server logs and removing what we find. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by the City of Davis, Yolo County, or California agencies are outside our control; correction or removal requests for those records must go to the custodian office.
